Celia and Ethan's Washington wedding was a beautiful display of their relationship that formed new traditions and stayed true to the artistic vision of the couple. As an artist herself, Celia brought her style to the event with an intimate and breathtaking day of festivities. Given that almost the entire guest list traveled from out of town, Ethan and Celia wanted to showcase Washington state and create a supremely memorable experience, which was actualized with an elegant brunch before a woodland ceremony and speeches on Mt. Baker.

Photographer Naba Zabih and Celia bonded through the day's artistic nuances, and Zabih said composition and lines were a key factor in capturing the right ambience. The resulting photos are a curated gallery worthy of a museum spot, with a moody edge and timeless touch that were a perfect fit given the couple's initial ideas. For her own look, bride Celia wowed in a two-piece ensemble with a tie-back, featuring sleek textures in a contemporary silhouette. Straying from tradition was not a big deal for couple who opted to have a brunch with champagne and cake before their forest ceremony, which kept the day on the exact timeline they wanted and was a lovely start to the celebration. Brunch décor was centered around modern white linens and details, accented with more bohemian florals featuring dried elements and bold shapes.

The ceremony brought everyone into the locale to a forest nook where Celia and Ethan had previously cleared out to prepare. It was a simple setup that relied on the grandiose and towering greenery to set a backdrop, making for an ultra-impactful display of nature. A simple bouquet of white florals added a minimalistic accessory for Celia, and emotional vows were exchanged overlooking loved ones. After the ceremony, the group trekked up to Mt. Baker for a sunset picnic, wedding toasts and absolutely magical photos. Our couple snuck away for some pictures against the sprawling mountainscape featuring glistening pools of water and celebrated their matrimony with a delightful showcase of bridal portraits. The overarching sentiment of the day celebrated togetherness between not only our couple, but also their guests, surrounded by a quintessential Pacific Northwest locale.
