Spring/Summer 2016

Kaspars Special Events & Catering (206.298.0123) celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2015 not only with a move to Magnolia, but with a major expansion. In addition to hosting smaller events for as many as 100 guests in the new Kaspars Tasting Room—a cozy space that boasts a large mahogany bar and covered patio—the catering experts also added three new venues to their roster. Straight out of Camelot, Olde Stone Stables in Issaquah comes complete with a drawbridge, a stone turret and a warmly finished barn that features high beams and stable stalls; while The Factory Luxe in Georgetown is the epitome of “beer chic,” located inside the original tasting room of Old Rainier Brewery and replete with a speakeasy-style vault room and original inlaid wood art depicting the history of beer. Last but not least, the Carriage House at the Stimson Green Mansion recently opened to the public after a renovation, its polished concrete floors, brick walls and open beam ceiling exuding the same classic appeal as the historic mansion.
