Gabrielle and Andy's wedding celebration at The Olympic Rooftop Pavilion in Seattle was full of personalized details and organic beauty. The bride wanted it to feel like an "explosion of color" and DIYed many of the wedding day details. Gabrielle created custom save the dates, wedding invitations and escort cards leading up to the big day and even hand made ties for Andy and his best man. The escort cards included a handwritten note from the bride and groom, a beautiful touch that showed each and every guest how special they are to the couple.
A gorgeous array of colorful florals dotted the design. "Andy, my lovely husband is from Yakima and his family has the most amazing circle of friends," says Gabrielle. "A dear friend offered to grow and arrange all of our flowers. She did a phenomenal job! My bouquet had fresh dahlias, baby apples, red amaranth- It was out of this world."
CORT Party Rental and Olympic Farm Style Events provided beautiful pieces for the reception area, where vibrant glassware and elegant place settings set the scene for an evening catered by Stoneburner. A cozy fireplace and boho rattan chairs made for the prettiest outdoor reception lounge space. Guests enjoyed a fun photobooth from 321 Foto and a delicious cake from Deru Catering to close out the night with Gabrielle and Andy.
From the bride:
"Since I am a big fan of second hand items - I bought my wedding dress from a second hand wedding dress vendor (Still White). I found the most beautiful dress - The Isra Dress from Bo and Luca- and knew it was the one. I found a woman in Vancouver who was selling it in my size. My mom and I drove up so I could try it on before I bought it. It was not your traditional “Say Yes” moment, but it was mine and I was ecstatic! "
