“I want to encourage future clients to be unique in their style,” explains Sulee Khongkhangam, owner and lead planner of Heartfelt Sentiment. Inside the chic brick walls of WithinSodo, in the heart of Seattle, Khongkhangam curated the team that created the moment: a stunningly natural event draped in fresh verdure and rich in contemporary refinement.
The day showcased a blend of natural elements, innovative designs and a twist on traditional wedding norms. The planner’s concept was to transcend conventional floral arrangements. “I went into organizing with the intention of shedding light on different ways to elevate a wedding with elements other than blooms. I’m talking about greenery, patterns and textures, all of which can also be more cost-effective.” Khongkhangam’s deep love for plants, as well as her creative collaboration with Meghan of Twisted Bramble, resulted in a sophisticated design. Woven, tasseled chargers complemented the warm-toned flatware and geometric chandeliers. Even the three-tiered cake reflected the offbeat flora motif, with neutral-toned decorative leaves ascending each layer.
