Sharn Shoker and Gurshan Randhawa wed amongst expansive Washington views in a day that was a dreamy ode to Sikh and Punjabi weddings. Gurudwara Singh Sabha offered a ceremony spot that was steeped in glamour and the Hyatt Regency Lake Washington set the stage for a reception doused in florals. Bride Sharn elaborated on the initial inspiration for this festive union and celebration of culture, "Our Jaggos (Sangeets) were both inspired by Jaipur architecture and colors. Buildings and structures from throughout Jaipur inspired our backdrops, centerpieces, and dance floor wraps." Wedding day details paid homage to Sikh and Punjabi culture with our bride and groom adorned in traditional garb. Sharn's attire was an opulent display of embroidered elegance in hues of sage and jewelry was an extravagant delight on our bride. A veil lined with jewels and henna tattoos were complimenting additions to the look. Gurshan was accessorized with a Sikh sword, which finds roots in religious traditions from the region and offers protection for the bride and groom on their wedding day. A jaggo ceremony celebrated the upcoming union before the wedding with notable fanfare, and an entrance from Gurshan on a traditional Punjabi-style bed called a Manja was a welcomed addition. For their day-of reception, Sharn and Gurshan wowed in second looks that saw our bride in white and groom looking dapper in black. Sharn commented, "Cloud of baby's breath enchanted us from the ceiling, a beautifully simple ivory cake scattered with flowers, and a stage decorated with hydrangeas and orchards imported from Holland. The venue was lit by candlelight and the rays from sunset from Lake Washington. Our wedding was a dream."  A true floral fantasy came to life in an unforgettable design and made for sumptuous photos. A violinist and tabla duo kept cocktail hour alive with music and a live painter created keepsakes for guests during the event. To add a showstopping twist, the couple surprised guests with a performance from the crown prince of Bhangra, Jazzy B., to end the night in style.
