Ben Prigmore and Amara Rodriguez infused the Cape Horn Estate in Stevenson with mid-century Hollywood glam for their wedding nestled in the Gorge mountains. The couple met initially during the pandemic when they were set up on a blind date and developed a strong connection. Surrounded by both sets of parents, Ben eventually proposed on Thanksgiving of 2021 where holiday festivities took on new meaning. The vision for the wedding combined the duo's love of nature with refined luxury and timeless décor. The result was a delightful mix of forest greens, gold, white and black shades that elegantly danced throughout the property's spaces. One of the focal points of the property was a stone arch, which set the backdrop for Ben and Amara's ceremony. The outdoor venue featured dramatic hydrangea blooms along its circumference, which served as the inspiration for an organic secret garden appeal and seeped onto the stone arch which was adorned with classic white roses. The locale had a whimsical appeal and was uniquely contrasted with elevated glamorous fashion choices. It was an intimate wedding day notably marked by a sophisticated and minimalistic design, an ode to the beauty of simplicity. What made for a truly unique design was such a bold color palette set against a sunny day; moody infusions added the aura of glam while offering a fresh take on a palette traditionally used for winter weddings. Ben took a special interest in food, ensuring mouthwatering Mediterranean plates kept guests satiated during the evening reception. As an ode to Amara's family, the evening ended in a prayer before a showstopping sparkler exit that was nothing short of magical.
