Though initially nervous about being the center of attention, Hilary knew she was making the right choice the moment she saw her bride Linda on their wedding day. The couple wanted a wedding that not only honored the city where they met and fell in love, but also incorporated their shared fondness of the outdoors. With this vision in mind, the Metropolist in SoDo was booked and the brides focused on using cool tones, clean lines and organic textures, like wood, cement, and greenery for their décor.

The guests were audience to not only a beautiful wedding, but a day full of love and memories. With an urban wood-paneled wall as the backdrop, the brides surprised each other with new wedding bands. The crisp clean banquet hall was made perfect when their nephews decorated Hilary and Linda’s chairs at the reception. Family and friends attending the wedding enjoyed a unique wedding feast, which consisted of Mexican cuisine, along with the brides’ favorite dessert, ice cream sandwiches.
