PARIS PROPOSAL: After two and a half years of dating, loan officer Jeremy Locke proposed to Kayla Krauthamer, a communications manager at Microsoft, at the base of the Eiffel Tower in Paris at the end of a European vacation. As Kayla accepted, a hired photographer took snaps of the moment and then proceeded to take the happy duo on a tour around the city for an utterly sweet engagement photo session.
TRADITIONAL TWISTS: The pair quickly settled on The Admiral’s House in Magnolia for their garden-party-style celebration, holding their Jewish ceremony on the property’s expansive lawn. The pair recited their vows from under a custom-made chuppah, built by the bride’s dad and brother from birch trees. After a post-ceremony cocktail hour and buffet dinner, guests clinked glasses for the family toasts and then danced the night away under the clear tent, which was elegantly draped with gauzy fabric and kissed with blush-colored uplighting to create an aura of romance.
