Before small, intimate weddings were a result of Covid, Brittney and Jake wanted just that, setting the standard for what a “tiny” wedding can be: Spending a similar amount to what one might spend on a larger soiree wedding, but dripping in gorgeous details. After securing photographer Tonie Christine to capture their big day – she’s been a favorite of the bride for years -- and other key vendors, the couple chose Deer Park (near Hurricane Ridge) in Port Angeles to exchange vows, on a lookout reminiscent of ancient Europe, embracing the gorgeous vistas of the Pacific Northwest. After saying "I do!", the newlyweds made their way to an intimate dinner party with close family and friends. “From delicious charcuterie, a myriad of beers and wines, menus and place cards, and the sweetest first dance, the night was a total success,” reminisces event designer Ashley Aske of Bixby + Pine.
